A friend saw two crows steal from a raptor, part 4

I remember that the crows hunted and killed a mouse and gave it to me as a gift in November, when their baby was old enough to get food on its own and they had cached enough acorns to allow some free time in their day.

So that's when they could afford to hunt for a gift.

There are rhythms baked in: times in crow life to be tricksters and steal. Times in crow life to offer a gift to a human, as a deepening of the relationship that helped them through the summer of raising a baby.

What spell might that realization break?
